My role

Design process

How to achieve easy to build shopping list with family and friend and make it reusable for in-store shopping experience?

01 Identifying use cases and understanding user needs

As a team, we tried gathering real-life use cases of how people create shopping lists and use them. We identified the 3 most popular cases. People usually create shopping lists for weekly grocery, special occasions (midsummer, Christmas dinner, birthday, etc.) with family or friends, and recipe lists.

02 Application design

As a team, we planned the overall features with stakeholders and defined patterns of UX/UI to use. The core features cover creating, building, and sharing shopping lists. Moreover, users can easily change stores and navigate to find items in the store and mark picked items.

03 Rapid prototyping and validation

After designing end-to-end flows which support prioritised user needs and did user testing for further iteration of prototypes. I made documentation for the handover.
